THE 3 BIGGEST FALL 2023 TRENDS FROM MILAN FASHION WEEK

Milan Fashion Week had a lot of highlights, from the incredible accessories to a decidedly subdued Gucci to simply truly excellent showings from Prada, Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta. It also put forward some key Fall 2023 trends that build on what we saw on the runway in New York and London.

Before we move onto the last leg (!) of fashion month, discover the biggest trends to come out of the Milan Fashion Week debuts.

BIG BELTS

Aside from many (too many) excellent shoe and bag propositions, the Fall 2023 runways all agreed on another must-have accessory: big belts.

SHRUGGED JACKETS

We love a runway trend that we can start incorporating into our lives ASAP — and without having to buy anything. The outerwear styling at the Fall 2023 debuts of brands like Antonio Marras, Del Core, Etro and more are inspiring us to casually shrug off our jackets, either completely off both shoulders or slouching down on just one.

PEEKABOO BRAS

This year, the goal of autumnal layering won’t be covering up, necessarily — at least according to Milanese designers, who aren’t afraid to expose underlayers on the runway.
